1926 – 2013

FARMINGTON — Lillian June (Young) Bragg, 87, formerly of Madison, died Sunday, Nov. 17, at the Sandy River Nursing Center.

She was born in Cornville on June 1, 1926, the daughter of Leon and Elizabeth (Thebarge) Young. She lived most of her life in Anson and Madison, moving to the Farmington area to be closer to her family during the past few years.

She was a feisty lady who loved horse-racing, shopping and eating out with friends and family. She loved spending time with her family. She had many friends and considered Sandy River her home for the past several years.

Survivors include her son, Richard “Dick” Bragg and his wife, Robin, of Wilton; two granddaughters, Erika Webster and her husband, Louis, of East Dixfield and Amy Tucker and her husband, Ryand, of Belton, Mo.; four great-grandchildren, Shawn and Adriana Wright of Belton, Mo., and Isabella and Brady Webster of East Dixfield; a sister, Sharon Clark of Starks; and nephews, Jim and Michael Clark and Bob Bellefleur, and their families from the Madison area.

Lillian was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Stanley C. Bragg; a grandson, Glenn Stanley Bragg; a sister, Irma Bellefleur and her husband, Patrick; a brother-in-law, Richard Clark; and a nephew, Bruce Bellefleur; as well as several sisters and brothers-in-law on her husband’s side.

Special thanks to Sandy River and all the staff and friends who made her feel at home.
