CORINNA — Penobscot County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a report of a robbery Friday night at a home on Renewal Street.

A masked man entered the woman’s residence about 8 p.m., brandished a weapon and demanded money and drugs, Deputy Stephen Marko said Saturday. The man made off with a small amount of cash.

The woman did not recognize the man, according to the deputy.

No injuries were reported.

Marko said that the man fled the home on foot but was not found after a search that included help from a Maine State Police trooper and his K-9.

The suspect was described as a white male, in his 20s, between 5 feet, 7 inches and 5 feet, 8 inches tall, of medium build, weighing about 160 pounds, with a gap between his two front teeth.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 947-4585.
