LEWISTON — Marshwood Center, 33 Roger St., a skilled nursing facility owned by Genesis HealthCare, welcomes April Nichols as its new administrator.

Nichols, a graduate of the University of Maine at Fort Kent, was most recently the administrator at Pittsfield Nursing and Rehab where she was employed for 14 years, first as the director of nursing, and then administrator or for the past four years.

Nichols has extensive knowledge of managed care practices, as well as Medicare, and Medicaid rules and regulations.
