Outlook: The Patriots are hoping their depth and speed can vault them into tournament contention in Class B. It’s the perfect combination for Deschenes, who likes to extend his defense full court and push the ball on offense. Six players return with significant varsity experience, including Kariotis, who averaged 10 points per game as a sophomore. They will be tested early, with Greely, Cape Elizabeth, York and Yarmouth on the schedule.
