LEWISTON — Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice has limited quantities of the 2013 Remembrance Ornament remaining; those wishing to purchase an ornament this holiday season are encouraged to do so quickly.

The 2013 ornament is hand-cast pewter and features a snowman family, a perfect reminder that family is forever. Annually, AHCH offers the Remembrance Ornament as a fundraiser to support hospice and home care for those who cannot afford it and bereavement services for families grieving the loss of a loved one.

Mechanics Savings Bank sponsored the 2013 Remembrance Ornament fundraiser, ensuring that every dollar raised directly impacts patient care.

Ornaments are $20 each and include a tag with the honored individual’s name. Ornaments measure 3 inches by 2.5 inches and come pre-wrapped in a silver organza bag. A $2.50 mailing fee is required for all orders needing shipment.

Dec. 18 is the last possible day to have orders shipped, but orders may be picked up at Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice’s Lewiston office on Strawberry Avenue until Dec. 24.

Ornaments can be purchased online at www.ahch.org or by calling 207-795-9469. Orders must be placed ahead online or via phone to allow time for a personalized tag to be created.
