MACHIASPORT — Police say they’ve nabbed a man wanted for stealing a Jeep and loaded gun from a home in Machiasport.

WCSH-TV reports (http://on.wcsh6.com/IZqf4W ) that police found 43-year-old Jason Trickett at around 5 a.m. Monday in a stolen vehicle in Bangor.

The station reports he is in custody and could be in court today.

Maine State Police say Trickett spent Saturday night at a home of a couple along Route 191 in Machiasport. On Sunday morning, the couple discovered he was gone, along with their Jeep and loaded .45-caliber handgun.

Police say Trickett was found not guilty in September of manslaughter in the stabbing death of a Bangor man in 2012.
