MUSIC

“Summer Skies” is a collection of jazz standards with a few original compositions as well.

McNulty was raised in Lewiston. Her first experience playing the flute was in the elementary school band program in the Lewiston school system. She went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in music at the UMaine School of Performing Arts in Orono. McNulty is now living in Arundel.

McNulty describes her music as “Coffee Music: Best enjoyed while enjoying a cup of coffee with an old friend.” Her playing style is casual, intimate and unintrusive. Each song on the album was selected as a piece that McNulty found reminiscent of a warm summer day.

The full album “Summer Skies” as well as individual tracks will be available digitally on iTunes, Google Play, Amazon MP3 and other online music download sites starting the last week of January. Samples of McNulty’s music are available at www.dianamcnulty.com.
