1946 – 2013

GORHAM — Albert W. Milasauskis Jr., 67, of Gorham, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 28, with his family by his side.

He was born in Lewiston on Oct. 12, 1946, the son of Albert W. Milasauskis Sr. and Laurea (Cloutier) Milasauskis. He graduated from Lewiston High School in 1965, attended the University of Maine at Portland-Gorham for two years and earned his B.S. in engineering from the University of Maine in Orono in 1970.

When he was at Alonzo J. Harriman Associates during the early years of his career, Al met and married Louise Fournier of Auburn. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, who cared deeply about his faith, his family and his community. His family was his primary focus, but he made time to be involved with his church, the Boy Scouts and the Lions Club.

In 1980, Al became a partner at Allied Engineering and the family moved to Gorham. He formed his own corporation, AWM Engineering, in 1998. Throughout his career, Al had high standards for quality designs and service to clients. He was a conscientious employer, who cared deeply about his associates and employees.

He was a longtime, active member of St. Anne’s Church.
