1917 – 2013
LEWISTON — Florida O. Sasseville, 96, of Schooner Estates in Auburn and formerly of Hall Street in Lewiston, died at Russell Park Manor on Wednesday, Dec. 25. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Louis P. Sasseville, in 1999.
She was born in Newburyport, Mass., on March 24, 1917, the daughter of Armand and Emilina (Couture) Dufresne Sr. She attended local schools and graduated from Acme Business School.
She is survived by her four children, Theresa Fuller, Claire Poussard and husband, Reginald Sr., Maurice and wife, Anna, and Paul and wife, Gail; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Bernadette Stuart of New Hampshire; and one brother, Emile Dufresne and wife, Therese, of Michigan.
She was predeceased by four brothers, Justice Armand Dufresne Jr., Philippe, Rodolphe and George; and three sisters, Alice Thibodeau, Lucia Galipeau and Theresa Grady.
