The editorial page cartoon by Dave Granlund (Dec. 29) was most unfair. I know of UPS delivery men who had no Christmas themselves.
Now, when a nationally-known catalog (our family received six in the past six weeks of the same catalog) advertises on its cover “Guaranteed Christmas delivery, order by Dec. 22,” common sense tells us that is just not going to happen.
With the ice storm and snow and the size of our state, those delivery men should be given a break. In my book, they are tops and went above and beyond.
