1929 – 2014

NASHUA, N.H. — Mary Patricia “Pat” Jean, 84, of Nashua, N.H., died at Kindred Healthcare Greenbriar on Wednesday, Jan. 1, surrounded by members of her family.

She was born on Jan. 17, 1929, in Auburn, a daughter of the late Martin F. and Louise (Small) Keenan. She was the widow of Roland A. Jean, who died on Oct. 4, 2005.

She is remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Pat was also an avid reader and enjoyed solving crossword puzzles, watching Jeopardy, the Patriots and Red Sox. She worked for over 20 years at Owens-Illinois, Brockway Plastics Division in Nashua.

She was educated in Auburn and graduated from Edward Little High School. Following her graduation, she attended the New England School of Art in Boston.

She is survived by her four sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin and Susan Jean of Wilton, N.H., Kerry and Donna Jean of Clayton, N.C., Michael and Samantha Jean of Nashua and Brian and Sheryl Jean of Merrimack; her two daughters and sons-in-law, Gerry and John Hanlon of Merrimack and Stacie and Bob Gannon of California; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also predeceased by her sister and two brothers-in-law, Gerry and Dick Brushwein and Edward Brushwein.
