1953 – 2014
TURNER — Jeffrey King Dumais, 60, a resident of Turner, died unexpectedly in his sleep, Saturday, Jan. 4, at his home.
He was born Oct. 25, 1953, in Livermore, the son of E. King Dumais and Constance (Burbank) Dumais. Jeff was a 1972 graduate of Livermore Falls High School. On June 25, 1977, in Turner, he married his wife of 36 years, Mollie Sennett of Turner.
He worked in the welding engineering department at Bath Iron Works in Bath. His work at BIW was a very important part of his life, and he took great pride in seeing each ship delivered to the Navy.
Jeff was an avid snow and water skier. He enjoyed working around his home and being with his family. He especially enjoyed traveling to Colorado to see his son and going on cruises for the holidays. He also loved his dog “Bella.”
He is survived by his wife, Mollie Dumais of Turner; his son, Nate Dumais of Edwards, Colo.; his daughter, Megan Dumais of Turner; sister, Robin Dumais-Baker of Lewiston; brother, Christopher Dumais of Livermore; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents; and brothers, Jack and Gary Dubreuil.
