FARMINGTON — Franklin Memorial Hospital President Rebecca Arsenault announces that Richard Renzi, MD, joined the medical staff of the emergency department at Franklin Memorial Hospital on Jan. 7.
Renzi is board-certified in emergency medicine, critical care medicine and internal medicine.
Before joining Franklin Memorial Hospital, he provided emergency medicine services at St. Joseph Hospital in Bangor since 2009.
Renzi received his medical degree from the University of Bologna in Italy. He completed his internal medicine residency and later a Fellowship in critical care medicine at Miriam Hospital in Providence, R.I.
One of his proudest achievements was receiving the Excellence in Teaching Award from the Warren Albert Medical School at Brown University in 2007.
Dr. Renzi resides in Wyman Township with his wife. They are the parents of two adult children.
