AUBURN — The Woman’s Literary Union of Androscoggin County will host an afternoon of Bunco at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, at the historic Horatio and Ella Foss House, 19 Elm St.
No experience needed; the afternoon will begin with instruction and practice before the real playing begins, and it’s all fun.
The event is open to the public and members are encouraged to bring guests. A $5 donation at the door gains admission.

Light snacks and prizes will be provided. Snow date is Saturday, Feb. 15.
A book sale will also take place, featuring great books for $1 each. All donations help WLU maintain the historic Foss house as well as give scholarships to local students.
Organized in 1892, the Woman’s Literary Union is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to further the intellectual, cultural and educational advancement of its members and the community, and preserve the nationally registered Horatio Foss Mansion.
