NORWAY — Charles G. Carro, 75, of South Paris, died Wednesday, Jan. 8, at Stephens Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Norway on January 23, 1938, the son of Paul and Maude Currier Carro. Charles faithfully served in the U.S. Army. He had been employed as a construction worker in the Boston area for many years. He later worked in the maintenance department at Robinson Manufacturing in Oxford.
After being together since 1962, he married Teresa Dixon on Oct. 29, 1986. He loved to hunt and fish. He enjoyed scratch tickets.
Charles is survived by his wife of South Paris; a daughter, Lori Swain and her husband, Ruel; two sons, A. Paul Madden and his significant other, Brenda Tester, and Harold Madden; three granddaughters; four step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert Carro; a sister, Lillian Calos; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents; and 10 siblings.
