Another year is upon us. Seeing that we were robbed of our rent rebates for the year 2012, we are now receiving the long, complicated application for the year 2013 rebate.
How much money was involved in putting together this weird form with its series of multiply this number by 45 percent or 20 percent, then subtract this number, etc.? Unreal!
Now, only those who have reached 65 years of age can qualify. I am on the extra full $400 because I am past 70.
When the November elections come around, people should remember who robbed them — Paul LePage — with his veto that took the 2012 rebate away.
Time to vote him out of office.
