FARMINGTON — A Phillips woman escaped with minor injuries after her car was struck and spun around at the traffic lights on Routes 2 and 4 Wednesday.

Dennifer Searles, 42, was leaving Walmart, making a left turn shortly after 2 p.m., Farmington police officer Ryan Rosie said.

Kyle Lunn, 27, of Sabattus, driving a white Nissan, couldn’t see the traffic lights because of road glare. He went through the light, striking the back of Searles’ vehicle, which around.

Searles received a neck injury but was treated at the scene by emergency personnel from NorthStar Ambulance. She was not taken to the hospital.

Farmington Fire and Rescue helped clear the scene.
