1948 – 2014

AUBURN — Sandra A. Bell, “Sandy,” 65, of Lewiston and Canada, died on Tuesday, Jan. 14, after a brief stay at the Hospice House.

Sandy was born on Oct. 22, 1948, and was the daughter of the late Anne Patricia and Alexander “Sandy” Bell. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, tending to her dogs, placing the occasional bet at the casino and singing and dancing. In her younger days, she was a member of the McDonald Pipefitters Band.

Sandy was a business owner as well as a CNA for various nursing facilities and private homes throughout the state of Maine.

Sandy is survived by two sons, Jim Casella and wife, Barbara, of Lisbon and Tony Casella and his wife, April, of Turner; daughter, Missy Casella of Lewiston; and her nine grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Dwaine and his wife, Mary, and Sheldon and his wife, Judy, of Canada.

She was predeceased by both of her parents.
