TOGUS — Dennis W. Bisson Sr., 72, of Auburn, succumbed to dementia on Monday, Jan. 13, at the VA Hospice Unit in Togus.
Dennis was a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he served in the U.S. Army. He was combat wounded and earned several medals, including the Purple Heart. Returning from war, Dennis was employed by the city of Auburn Public Works as a line and sign technician for many years, before retiring. He was involved in many veterans organizations.
Dennis leaves his wife of 53 years, Flora Lucille. He is also survived by his son, Dennis, Jr.; his daughter, Christine; nine grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Dennis was predeceased by his daughter, Donna.
