AUBURN — Comedy Fix will return to Auburn with five of New England’s best stand-up comedians including Boston-based

and Shawn Carter. The show will take place at 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7, at the Auburn Fireside Inn. All net proceeds will benefit The Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope & Healing.

Comedy Fix founder Mark Turcotte will also host New Hampshire’s Paul Landwehr and Maine favorites Stephanie Doyle and Stephen Cloutier.

Angle was featured in the Boston Globe and Chicago’s Women’s Funny Fest. Carter has performed in Las Vegas and was a semi-finalist at the Boston Comedy Festival. Landwehr tours throughout New England and won Joke of the Year at the 2013 New Hampshire Comedy Awards. Doyle hosted the 2012 Maine Comedy Festival and performed at the 2013 Women in Comedy Festival in Boston, and Cloutier has performed in New York and was featured on Portland’s Street Talk television show.

The Dempsey Center is located in Lewiston and was founded by actor and Maine native Patrick Dempsey. The Center opened in 2008 and provides free support, education and integrative medicine services to anyone impacted by cancer. More information can be found at www.dempseycenter.org. The past three Comedy Fix shows have raised $1,731 for the Center.
