LEWISTON — Lyceum Gallery is looking for cartoon art for the March exhibit, “Satire, Caricature, Humor.”

A cartoon is a unique combination of words and pictures that can tell a story, state an opinion or make people laugh. Cartoonists have mastered an almost limitless vocabulary of graphic expression to entertain and enlighten their audiences in editorial cartoons, caricatures, comic strips and graphic novels.

This exhibit will consist of individual or multiple panels of cartoon art prepared for wall hanging. Open to all print art media, pieces do not need to be framed but do need to be mounted in such a way that they can be hung without putting holes in the art work. All submissions must be for sale.

Submission deadline is Sunday, Feb. 9. Exhibit opens Friday, March 21.
