PARIS — Staff and students from Oxford Hills Christian Academy are working together to put on a Sweetheart Banquet and Murder Mystery dinner theater, open to the public, from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, at Four Seasons Function Center.

The banquet will include music, dancing and a variety of hors d’oeuvres followed by a buffet dinner and desserts. Gift baskets and flower arrangements will also be sold in a silent auction at the event.

During the serving of desserts, a group of students, alumni and teachers, under the direction of Michelle Wheeler, will perform the comedic murder mystery “Cafe Murder,” by Nathan Hartswick.

“Cafe Murder” tells the story of hypochondriac Rosemary Saint-John and her four sisters who go out to eat at a small local bistro to celebrate her birthday.

A little while into the celebration, the sisters, the chef and the maitre’d discover that Rosemary went missing after taking a trip to the restroom. She is presumed to be murdered and an amateur detective leads the investigation as he takes on his first case.

Tickets are on sale now for $35 at these locations: OHCA in South Paris, Rising Sun Cafe & Bakery in South Paris, Books & Things in Norway and Oxford Advent Church in Oxford.
