SOUTH PARIS — Gerald R. Raymond, 68, of South Paris, passed away Thursday, Jan. 30, at Market Square Health Care Center.
He was born in Roxbury, Mass., on Sept. 3, 1945, the son of George C. and Evelyn Booth Raymond. He attended Oxford schools and served in the U.S. Army. He had been employed in the manufactured home industry.
Gerald enjoyed horseshoes, cribbage, reading, movies and working out at the gym. He was a fan of the Patriots, the Red Sox and NASCAR.
He is survived by his siblings, Elaine Smith of Oxford, Curtis Raymond and wife, Pauline, of San Antonio, Texas, John Raymond and wife, Jeannie, of Spring, Texas, George Raymond of Harrison and Arlene Raymond and partner, Bruce Friedland, of South Paris; his aunt, Hazel Raymond, of Otisfield; and many special nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents; his uncle, John Raymond; and his nephew, Todd Smith.
