1934 – 2014

LEWISTON — June Frances Lapointe, 79, of Auburn, passed away peacefully Saturday evening, Feb. 1, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, with her family by her side.

She was born in Lewiston on Nov. 23, 1934. June always loved being with family and friends; she always looked forward to her yearly trips to Ogunquit, made possible by her dear friends, Andrea and George. June faced many health challenges with strength and dignity. She will be truly missed by all who loved her.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Wilfred Lapointe, of Auburn; her children, Rachel Remillard and husband, Paul, of Litchfield and Larry Lapointe and wife, Lisa, of Lewiston; a sister, Doris Sepkovic, of Lewiston; two brothers, Earl Deojay and wife, Candy, of Mount Vernon and Tommy Deojay and wife, Mary, of Mechanic Falls; sister-in-law, Brenda Deojay, of Fayette; brother-in-law, Phil Lapointe and wife, Lorraine, of Auburn; a very close cousin, Joyce Hodgman and husband, Ken, of Norway; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by a brother, Blaine Deojay.
