BRUNSWICK — Freshman Cody Woodward scored the first and deciding goal as Edward Little skated to a 4-0 victory over Mt. Ararat in boys’ ice hockey action Saturday.

The Red Eddies (10-5) found the back of the net four times before the close of the second period. Junior forward Branden Dyer assisted on Woodward’s goal and closed out the scoring with a tally of his own.

Goalie Kyle Welch made 30 saves for the Eagles (8-8), while goalie Devin Dumont earned the win in net with 14 saves for Edward Little.

St. Dom’s 6, Poland/Gray-NG 0

AUBURN — Cam Stewart potted two goals for St. Dom’s and Calvin Stewart had a goal of his own as the Saints rolled to a 6-0 win over Poland/Gray-New Gloucester.

Austin Roy had a goal and an assist while Chase Hainey and Caleb Labrie also scored.

Caleb Dostie stopped all eight shots he faced for the shutout while Nick Hemond made 42 saves for the 26ers.
