AUBURN — The wedding of Peter C.T. Silvers and Fred O. Sanborn was held recently at the High Street Congregational Church. The Rev. Stephen Carannan and Deborah Breault officiated at the ceremony.
Peter Sanborn-Silvers is the son of Janet Silvers of Portland. The parents of Fred Sanborn-Silvers are deceased.
Bonnie Bingham, friend, was honor attendant for Fred Sanborn-Silvers, and James Dean was attendant for Peter Sanborn-Silvers. Ushers were Andrew Choate and David Sirois, friends, and Thomas Myatt, brother-in-law. Readers were Margaret Myatt, sister of Peter Sanborn-Silvers, and Kate Silvers, his sister-in-law. Soloist was Ruth Burke and Angelo Giberti played the guitar. Candle lighters were Reed Silvers III, brother, and Pauline Silvers, sister-in-law. Reed Silvers IV, nephew, was the ring bearer.
Following a wedding trip to Sugarloaf, they are residing in Lewiston.
Peter Sanborn-Silvers attended Dublin School in Dublin, N.H., and the University of Maine at Farmington. He is employed at Wal-Mart.
Fred Sanborn-Silvers attended Melrose High School and the University of Maine at Orono. He is employed at Ace Security.
