NORWAY — The Norway Arts Festival will showcase 100 fine artists from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, July 12, on Main Street, a block from Lake Pennesseewassee in historic Norway. The street will be closed to traffic for the 47th annual arts festival giving way to a “Pedestrian Mall” for this event.

There is an early bird discount for art mailed by Tuesday, April 1. Application deadline is Sunday, June 1. This is a juried art festival offering prizes for Best in Show, First and Second Prize in Painting, First and Second Prize in Photography and First Prize in Fine Artisan. Last year the prize money awarded amounted to $3,000. This year prizes will be offered in the same categories.

The Festival committee is seeking fine artists, painters, a limited number of photographers and artisans. The loyal artists who have been juried into the show in the past are not required to be juried in again.

Space requests are honored in the order applictions are received. Tenured artists retain their spots unless they request differently.
