LEWISTON — The Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce will host a Brown Bag lunch discussion from noon to 1:15 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, at the chamber, 415 Lisbon St.

The discussion topic will be “Business Valuation”  with presenters Peter Ventre and Sam Adams, investment bankers with Corporate Finance Associates in Portland.

Attendees will learn the fundamentals of business valuation, how business values vary in different contexts, how the current market looks at business values, and how the value of a business can be increased over time. The presentation will be followed by discussion and questions and answers.

Ventre is a seasoned finance professional with 25 years of expertise in corporate finance, accounting and operational management. He is a CPA and is experienced in business valuation.

As a business owner, investor, legal adviser and legislative advocate, Adams has devoted his career to helping business owners find the resources they need at startup, growth, expansion and sale.
