LEWISTON — She Doesn’t Like Guthries and The Portland Comedy Co-op are collaborating on a new monthly comedy showcase. Every first Thursday of the month you’ll be able to grab one of Guthries’ amazing burritos as well as see some of Maine and New England’s best and brightest comedians.

The first show will be at 8 p.m. Thursday, March 6, and will feature Maine favorite

. Pennell, a regular at Portland’s new Big Easy Comedy Club, is a frequent opener for Bob Marley and Krazy Jake and has been a featured guest on The Tony James Podcast.

This month’s host from The Portland Comedy Co-op will be Lewiston native Aharon Willows-Hebert. Willows-Hebert got his comedic start in New York City and Boston, performing stand up, musical comedy, and improv, before returning to his home state for a lucrative sandwich-making position while continuing to hone his comedy craft.

Admission to this event is free. She Doesn’t Like Guthries, a locally owned and operated, eco-friendly restaurant in downtown Lewiston offers high-quality healthy food while supporting live music and local art, and is at 115 Middle St. The show is open to all ages, though 18 and up is recommended.
