AUBURN — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Anne Leone was celebrated by the Rev. Robert Lariviere at Sacred Heart Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish.

At the entrance to church, Anne’s daughter and son-in-law, Marianne and Carl Damon, draped her casket with a white pall to signify Anne’s Baptism into a new spiritual life with God. During the service, Al Swallow presented a reading from the New Testament. The offertory gifts were brought to the altar by Anne’s grandchildren, Kelsey, Dominic, Maria and Tom Masselli. Bearers were Al Swallow, Tom Masselli and Pete Chabot.

Graveside committal prayers will be held in the spring at Glenside Cemetery in Winthrop. At the conclusion of Mass, all in attendance were invited to a reception of fellowship at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Damon in Poland. Arrangements were by Dillingham & Son in Auburn.
