1977 – 2014

LEWISTON — Michael J. Rowe, 36, of South Paris, died unexpectedly on Thursday, Feb. 13, at Central Maine Medical Center.

He was born in Farmington on March 10, 1977, a son of Jeffrey and Deborah (Coffin) Rowe, and was a 1996 graduate of Mt. Blue High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, having served from 1996-99.

On April 21, 2012, he married Stephanie Smith at their home in South Paris.

Michael was currently employed at Thomas Richard and Son Logging. He enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing, spending time with his family and working on his “hobby” farm.

He is survived by his wife, Stephanie, and their children, Jenna and Jordan, of South Paris; his parents, Jeffrey and Deborah Rowe of Wilton; a brother, Jeffrey “Fred” Rowe Jr. and his wife, Sarah, and their children, Mason, Nicholas and Alyssa, of New Vineyard; his maternal grandmother, P. June Petrie, of Wilton; paternal grandmother, Patricia A. Rowe, of Wilton; and a longtime friend, Miguel Ibarguen.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Richard Rowe.
