1984 – 2014

FAYETTE — Eric K. Ellingwood, 29, a resident of Fayette, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 18, at his home.

He was born in Lewiston on April 26, 1984, the son of Kenneth Ellingwood and Cindy (Boyker) Ellingwood. Eric was a 2002 graduate of Livermore Falls High School. Eric also attended flight school and flew his solo flight. He worked in the mental health services field at Motivational Services in Augusta.

On Sept. 22, 2012, at the Bates Chapel in Lewiston, he married the love of his life, Kelly Rogers.

Eric had an amazing mind and was inquisitive on all subjects; he loved computers and was always accurate in his work. He enjoyed watching movies and was a “Science-Fiction Buff.” He especially loved moments spent with his wife, family and his dog, Paisley, and cat, Brody.

He is survived by his wife, Kelly Ellingwood, of Fayette; his parents, Kenneth and Cindy Ellingwood of Fayette; his sister, Abby McPheters and her husband, Hutch, of Chesterville; his mother-in-law and stepfather-in-law, Harry and Patti Moore of Lisbon; his father-in-law and stepmother-in-law, Gary and Diane Rogers of Bowdoin; maternal grandmother, Patricia Boyker, of Jay; niece, Macie McPheters; and nephew, Tucker McPheters.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Walter and Lorraine Ellingwood.
