1916 – 2014

LEWISTON — Judith E. Poulin, 97, passed away on Monday, Feb. 24, at d’Youville Pavilion, two days before her 98th birthday.

She was born in Montmagny, Quebec, the daughter of the late Ibrahim and Eva (Fontaine) Boulay. On Sept. 1, 1934, she married George Poulin, whom predeceased her on Sept. 12, 1989. Judy became a U.S. citizen on March 4, 1944.

She enjoyed dancing, playing cards, beano and crotcheting.

She is survived by her daughter, Lorraine Raymond, of Sabattus; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren, with one more expected in early summer.

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Muriel; and sons-in-law, Henry Raymond Sr. and Robert Beaudoin.

Judy’s family wishes to thank all the staff on 4 West at d’Youville Pavilion for the compassionate care they gave her.
