WILTON — Public memorial services honoring the life of Michael “Mike” J. Rowe were held Saturday morning, Feb. 22, at the Wiles Remembrance Center in Wilton, with Rhonda Wiles-Rosell as celebrant.

Michael’s favorite music was played at the opening and closing of the service, beginning with a favorite song, “She Loves Me Like Jesus.” Personal reflections were shared by his wife, Stephanie; daughter, Jenna; lifelong friend, Miguel Ibarguen and his parents, Jeffrey and Deborah Rowe. The Wilton Fire Department Honor Guard paid tribute at the entrance of the center.

Following services, all were invited to a comfort reception at the Academy Hill Cafeteria. Spring committal services with full military honors will be held on Flag Day, June 14, at East Wilton Cemetery.
