LOVELL — Voters will be asked to approve a $1.1 million municipal budget and elect officials at the annual town meeting Saturday.

Action on the 90-article warrant begins at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Town Hall, 1069 Main St.

Voters will be asked to raise and appropriate a municipal budget of $1,179,316, which is about $78,000 more than last year.

Tax Collector Janice Arsenault said she does not believe taxes will be affected significantly.

Selectmen in their annual report said the biggest issue this year is funding SAD 72 projects, including the possibility of building a new C.A. Snow School in Fryeburg, renovating the Molly Ockett Middle School in Fryeburg and building a central office.

A districtwide committee is exploring cost sharing for the projects.

Voters will also be asked to raise and appropriate $160,000 for snow removal and winter road care, and $110,000 for paving.
