LEWISTON — To “InSPire Creativity,” SPi Global will participate in book building at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 8, at the Lewiston Public Library.

For the past two years, SPi Global has made a difference in the lives of more than 20,000 children around the world by devoting just one day of employees’ collective time, talent and effort.

On Corporate Social Responsibility day, the organization reaches out to its respective communities by finding ways to enrich the lives of the younger generations.

This year’s goal is a global effort of 50,000 volunteer hours throughout North America and Asia.

The Lewiston facility is teaming up with the Lewiston Public Library to inSPire children from the community to learn, imagine and create through books.

Morning activities will include an opportunity for kids of all ages to decorate and bind their own books. Children will learn about book layout, cover design, copyright pages and binding. They will be encouraged to use their imagination to write, illustrate and build their own book to take home. All children are invited.
