AUBURN — Jacqueline M. Csoros, 84, formerly of 21 Blake St., Lewiston, died on Monday, March 3, at Schooner Estates in Auburn.

She was born in Lewiston on March 15, 1929, the daughter of Donatien and Bertha Legendre Giguere. Educated locally, she was a graduate of Lewiston High School, Class of ’47. She attended Farmington State Teachers College, and received her degree from the University of Maine. In 1948 she married John F. Csoros, who passed away in June of 1996. She taught in Lewiston and Auburn Schools for many years, specializing in 2nd and 4th grades. She was communicant of the former St. Joseph’s Church and active in parish life for many years. She was very accomplished in creating stained glass pieces and her other hobbies included reading, sewing and ceramics. She enjoyed going out to eat with friends, attending family functions, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include four sons; James of Coos Bay, Ore., Peter and wife, Suzanne, of Minot, Col., Mark Brooks, MD, and wife, Jennifer, MD, of Mary Esther, Fla., and Phillip and wife, Tammy, of Ft. Worth, Texas; four daughters, Anne and husband, Michael Martin, of Minot, Christine and husband, Rudy Johnson, of Monmouth, Jane and husband, Charles DeAngelis, of Lewiston and Martha and husband, Carl Adams, of Lewiston; a brother, Paul Giguere of Rockville, Md.; a sister-in-law, Constance Giguere of Philipsburg, NJ.; and two brothers-in-law, Andrew Csorosz of Lisbon Falls and Lt Col. Félix Csorosz of Missoula Mont.; twenty-five grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Gerard Giguere; two sisters, Therese Giguere and Germaine Radomski; and a sister-in-law Mary Lefebvre.

CSOROS — Jacqueline M, 84, formerly of Lewiston, died in Auburn on March 3. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Church with interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
