WHITEFIELD (AP) — School has been closed in an elementary school in Whitefield, Maine, because of a fire.
Authorities said Monday the fire started in the gymnasium at Whitefield Elementary School. There’s word on the extent of the damage to the school.
The superintendent for Regional School Unit 12 said all other schools in the district are open.
