MEXICO — The Mexico Police Department responded to 40 incidents over the last week. 


* Jesse Gray, 38, and Marguerite Dodds, 45, of Mexico were arrested at 4:59 p.m. March 7 at the Walmart in Mexico for outstanding warrants on failure-to-appear charges.

Property damage

* An Angie Lane resident reported at 2:23 p.m. March 7 that someone damaged his property with a snow-removal vehicle. Police Chief Roy Hodsdon said that police are currently investigating and that no suspects have been identified yet.


* A Spring Street resident reported at 10:22 a.m. March 5 that sometime during the previous night someone stole his wallet from his home. According to the police report, an undisclosed amount of cash was inside of the wallet. Police currently have no suspects.


*Police responded to a two-vehicle accident at 2:37 p.m. March 6 at the intersection of Veterans Street and River Road.

According to a report by Lt. Daniel Carrier, a 2000 Oldsmobile passenger car driven by Joshua Farrington, 19, of Andover was at a stop sign on Veterans Street, waiting to turn right onto River Road, when a 2005 Honda SUV driven by Benjamin Higley, 21, of Rumford struck the rear bumper of Farrington’s car.

Higley admitted at the scene of the accident that he wasn’t paying attention when he struck Farrington’s car.

Higley’s vehicle received minor damage; Farrington’s vehicle was towed.

Nobody was injured in the crash.
