RUMFORD — Town Clerk Beth Bellegarde said Thursday afternoon that seven people have taken out nomination papers for a pair seats on the Board of Selectmen.
She said the earliest residents can file their nomination papers is April 11, and they will be due by April 25.
The seven seeking the three-year terms are former Selectman Mark Belanger, Candice Casey, incumbent Jolene Lovejoy, Patrick Ryan, Richard Scagliola, incumbent Jeff Sterling and James Windover.
Bellegarde said she has taken out papers for town clerk and Tax Collector Tom Bourret and Board of Assessors member Craig Chamberlain have taking out papers for for their positions.
