FARMINGTON — Public memorial services for Robert H. Flick were held Saturday afternoon, March 15, at Old South Congregational Church, with the Rev. Alexis Fuller-Wright officiating.

Patricia Hayden was the organist. Congregational hymns included “Be Still My Soul,” “I’ll Fly Away” and “How Great Thou Art.” His daughter, Beth Pope, recited 1 Corinthians 13. Remembrances were shared by his sons, Tim Flick and Mitch Flick; grandson, Collin Pope; and longtime family friend, Charley Murray. A personal eulogy and a “Claiming of the Promise” was shared by longtime family friend, the Rev. Cathie Wallace.

Following services, the Old South Hospitality Committee hosted a remembrance comfort reception in the church vestry. Winter entombment is at Wiles Remembrance Center in Farmington. Private family spring burial services will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Farmington.
