LEWISTON — Rachel Desgrosseilliers, executive director of Museum L-A, will be the keynote speaker when the Golden Key International Honor Society chapter at University of Maine hosts its annual New Member Recognition Ceremony.
The event will be held Friday, March 28, in Portland. Golden Key is the world’s premier international honor society, admitting the top 15 percent of college sophomores, juniors, seniors and graduate students.
The Member Recognition Ceremony is the official recognition for these members and family, faculty/staff and the Golden Key chapter. This year, the chapter has chosen to extend honorary membership to Desgrosseilliers. As the keynote speaker, her presentation is titled: “Expect the Unexpected and Be Ready with the Fire in Your Belly.”
