Optimist Club guest speaker, Alex Therriault, left, receives his copy of the Optimist Creed from Club President George Mathews at a meeting at Chopsticks in Lewiston. Therriault gave a short history of his dog sledding, his racing days and his experiences giving dog sled rides and tours out of Hebron. He has 25 dogs and four puppies, all Alaskan Huskies. He has done a short segment with “North Woods Law” show and one with Animal Planet that will be aired this year.
