AUBURN — The congregants of New Life Christian Fellowship were surely surprised to hear they had received as a gift from Sovereign Grace Chapel their building and contents at 57 Manley Road.

It is exactly what they were praying for and more, said one member.

The documents were signed on July 10 and the packing started.
The plan was to fully occupy the facility by September of last year. A minor face lift was given the facility and a new sign installed, which reads “New Life Stevens Mills.” The plan is to focus their ministry in the Stevens Mills area, preaching the Gospel and helping the less fortunate.

Oct. 5 was a day of praise and thanksgiving as they celebrated their first service in their new home. The attendees of Sovereign Grace Chapel were present to welcome the members of New Life. It was a time of great joy and appreciation as Pastor John turned over the facility to Rev. Goulet of New Life and called it “a new beginning.”

New Life’s motto has been and will remain “love cares.”

An invitation is extended to all who are seeking a home church. Services are held at 10 a.m. with a Bible study at 9 a.m.
