KINGFIELD — Maine Mountain Children’s House, a nonprofit Montessori preschool, is now enrolling students ages 3 to 6 for the 2014-15 school year.

MMCH offers an educational experience encouraging each child to grow academically, emotionally and socially while fostering independence, respect, and responsibility to self, others and the Earth.

Students typically enroll for five full or half days or three full or half days. Childcare is also available to students before or after their public school day.

Spring open house will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 3. Parents will be able to visit classrooms, learn about the Montessori philosophy of teaching, meet parents and students and get more information about enrollment.
