At 8 p.m. Friday, April 4, Back Woods Road will perform at Guthries in

Lewiston. Jane and Richard Bernier have added two new members to the

band: Mike Conant brings his fiddle, banjo and vocal talents to the

forefront, and Gavin Smith adds vocals and bass. Together the band

brings a highly energized acoustic sound, tight harmonies and hard

driving lead solos in their original material, bluegrass, Americana,

blues, folk, rock and country music. There is no cover charge. For
