Back Bay Four, who sang at last year?s a cappella night, is back due to the enthusiastic welcome they received last year. The group was formed in 2001 from the “Portland Downeasters” and was the Granite + Pine Division Champion quartet in 2007. Members are David Brown, tenor; Walt Dowling who sings lead; Cy Kendrick, bass; and Jay Wiley, the baritone.

Chantez (pronounced shahn-tey) means “sing” in French and that is what they love to do. This quartet formed after singing together at Maine-ly Harmony, an a cappella women?s chorus based at the Togus VA. Members are lead Donna Ryder; Kathy Ryder, bass; tenor, Linda Davis; and Lea Davis.

Good-Time Sound is the youngest of the three groups hailing from the general Waterville area. The quartet features Ben Clark, tenor; Jon Hawley, lead; Bill Yates, bass; and Mike Peterson as baritone. Their repertoire of barbershop, doo-wop, popular music and rock classics of the 1960s and 70s keeps them harmonizing all night.

Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door. Call 207-293-2362; 207-293-2670; or 207-293-2674; or email [email protected] for tickets.
