GREENE — Several teenagers were busted at an underage drinking party Sunday morning on Route 202, police say.

According to Sergeant Tim Kachnovich of the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Department, deputies were made aware of the party at 964 Route 202 at 1:25 a.m.

When deputies arrived, Kachnovich said in a release, seven teenagers ranging in age from 14 to 18 were found. Kachnovich said all had been consuming alcohol and all were issued summons for violations before being released to their parents.

The one 18-year-old issued a summons was Jordan Lord of Greene.

The homeowner, Inga Roberts, 42, was charged with furnishing a place for minors to consume or possess alcohol — a class D crime, punishable up to one year in jail and fines up to $2,000.

Kachnovich said the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Department works in cooperation with Healthy Androscoggin to combat underage drinking and has zero tolerance for adults hosting underage drinking parties.
