Season outlook: The Cougars didn’t lose many contributors from a team that trailed only Lisbon and Boothbay in the league meet, and they’ve added plenty of depth and athleticism. Dirigo will be looking for the rookies to step up in the throwing events to replace Gaudin’s scoring output. Daoud’s strength in multiple events will give the team a boost.
