Fire Aux. bake sale, basket raffle

FARMINGTON — The Temple Fire Auxiliary will hold its annual Easter bake sale and dinner basket raffle from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 19, in front of Save-A-Lot, 654 Wilton Road.

Raffle tickets are $1 each or six for $5.

The drawing will be at the end of the bake sale.

Benefit supper for Gil Ward, family

CHESTERVILLE — A benefit spaghetti supper for Gil Ward and family will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, April 26, at the Chesterville Town Hall.

Legion plans dinner, dance

FARMINGTON — The Farmington American Legion will host their 120 club dinner and dance at the Post on Saturday, April 26.

Happy hour begins at 4:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 5:30, then the raffle drawings and 50/50 prize will be awarded.

At 7 p.m. dance and enjoy the music of Dreamin’ Big. They are great entertainers, and offer a wide variety of music for listening or dancing pleasure.

Literacy Volunteers used book sale

FARMINGTON — Literacy Volunteers of Franklin & Somerset Counties will hold a huge used book sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 3, and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, May 4, at the Elks Lodge, 120 School St., West Farmington.

Book donations are happily accepted. Large donations can be picked up by calling 778-3460.
